New Remote Connection software for Macs

Microsoft came out with a new version of their software for Remote Desktop.
Click HERE to view it.  You will want to download it from the App Store on your Mac.  Once you have it installed on your Mac, this will enable you to connect to our Server, use QuickBooks and print to your local printer.

Now that it’s installed, open up Microsoft Remote Desktop (MRD).  It will be in your Applications folder.

If you have been using the old version of Microsoft Remote Desktop, the files will work with the new version of Remote Desktop.
To do that, you want to import the file:
1.   With MRD open, go to the menu at the top of your screen and click on File.
2.   Then select Import.
3.   A finder window will pop up, asking you to locate the .rdp file that you have been previously using.  Select the file, and click Open.  You should be able to use the file now.  If you need assistance with creating a new file, please email Brianna and she can make a new one for you and email it to you.

If you want to create a new connection in Microsoft Remote Desktop (MRD), follow the steps HERE.
